# iPhone, iPad & the shared workspace

The same saved work and tools, with phone navigation and a roomy tablet workspace.

The installed iPhone and iPad app opens the full responsive Ralti application. It shares the website’s workbooks, records, views, documents, email, AI review, rules, team controls, and permissions. Sign in to the same application address and account, select the same workspace, and continue with the same saved work across screens.

## Keep your bearings on iPad

A wider iPad uses the sidebar and a larger working surface. A narrow iPad window uses the phone navigation. Your workbook still brings together Overview, Sheets, Reports, Documents, Rules, and Helpers. Back to workbook and the record back trail return you to the work you came from. Before editing after a workspace switch, check the workspace name: switching changes the team and data boundary.

## Work with sheets, records, and documents

- All ten sheet views remain available: Table, Board, Calendar, Timeline, Flow, Gallery, List, Chart, Form, and Workload. Wide working surfaces scroll within the sheet.
- Table’s Appearance menu offers Comfortable/Compact rows, column width presets, a width input, and Move left/Move right controls. Saved column widths and order carry across devices; the name column stays first.
- Calendar retains Month, Week, and Agenda. Use card group controls or edit a record’s mapped fields when a desktop drag gesture is inconvenient.
- Details, Related work, and Activity jump within an open record. Open connected work, then follow the back trail to your source context.
- Documents offer Edit document and Preview on a phone. Preview inspects the same draft; finalizing is a separate action. Read-only documents show Document details.

## Choose how to open Ralti

For current early-access device testing, use the private preview link supplied by your workspace operator. Keep your device and the host computer on the same trusted Wi-Fi, with the computer and app server awake. This public website provides the demo and documentation; it does not create a live workspace or provide an always-on app server.

## Sign in and use device capabilities

Email sign-in, verification, and recovery stay inside Ralti. Choosing an enabled Apple, GitHub, Google, or Microsoft button explicitly opens the system authentication flow and returns to the app. Canceling returns to the inline form. Mailbox authorization also uses the system authentication browser; use the same account in the app and browser.

Choose files through the system picker. Exports and PDFs in the installed iOS app open the share sheet, including Save to Files; printing uses system controls. Voice requires microphone and speech permissions, with typing available whenever you need it.

> **Connectivity and release status** A reachable application server is required. Offline editing, background synchronization, push notifications, and a system share extension are not included. Apple signing is required for installation; TestFlight and App Store release are separate distribution steps. The public marketing website is not the authenticated application.

## If something looks different

Compare the application address, signed-in account, selected workspace, saved view, and filters. A viewer has fewer editing actions. Local preview links work only while their server and network remain reachable; use the deployed HTTPS application away from that network. Device permissions and provider consent must be completed on the device you are using.
